Combination Boilers
Combination boilers can be cheaper to install, although they are not as efficient as
condensing boilers.
They work on providing instantaneous hot water. However, the flow
can be limited if there are other taps running at the same time.
Advantages
- They are tough and reliable
- They are also economical to run and can provide a vast amount of hot water
- There is no requirement for costly hot water storage
- Labor and material saving
- Instantaneous hot water
- Drinking water from all taps
Disadvantages
- Rates can be higher than that of a storage system
- Require more wall space
- No stored hot and cold water
